CHEMICAL CONTROL MEASURES:
The control measures depend on the nature of premises to be treated. However in general the treatment is carried out in the following manner:
- External Areas: Rodent Poison Baiting in burrows, areas infested with rodents, areas favoring rodent infestation. Use of rodent bait stations wherever necessary.
- Internal Areas: Rodent Poison Baiting will be done in non critical commercial, and industrial establishments whereas in critical industries Glue traps will be used to trap rodents in the internal areas of the premises. Use of rodent bait stations wherever necessary.
- Mapping of rodent bait stations on layout floor plan of your premises.
- Rodent poison baiting service is not applicable to individual residence but can be provided to residential cooperative housing societies, residential complexes. To control rodents in individual residences use of glue traps, wire cages, snap trap (to be used precautiously) is advisable.
Frequency: Fortnightly / Weekly depending on level of infestation, hygienic conditions, housekeeping practices and so on.

Effective control of rodents require implementing preventive pest proofing measures in the structure, use of various control techniques such as Good sanitation, Daily pick up of garbage, Good storage practices / proper storage procedures both indoors and outdoors, Reduced outdoor harborages, weeds, dumping of old equipments / scrap, etc. |
